9th Africa Scout Jamboree held from 2 - 11 August 2024 at Bungere National Scout Centre in Gitega, Burundi under the theme Safe Spaces, New Experiences. The Africa Scout Jamboree is the largest regular event organized by the Africa Scout Region, gathering thousands of young people from all over Africa and the world. It is an educational event to promote education, peace and understanding. The Jamboree includes a wide variety of activities and places great importance on the everyday life and interaction on the campsite. It was the second time that Association des Scout du Burundi hosted the jamboree after successfully delivering the sixth edition back in 2012

The Africa Scout Academy is a capacity building event of the Africa Scout Region.
